Abstract :
We consideradiscrete-timebatchMarkovianarrivalprocess(D-BMAP)/G/1retrialqueue.Wefindthe light-tailed asymptoticsforthestationarydistributionsofthenumberofcustomersatembeddedepochs and atarbitrarytime.Usingthesetailasymptoticsweproposeamethodforcalculatingthestationary distributions ofthenumberofcustomersatembeddedepochsandatarbitrarytime.Numericalexamples are presentedtoillustrateourresults.
