Abstract :
We presentanintegerprogrammingformulationfortheopenpitmineproductionschedulingproblem.
We strengthenthisformulationbyaddinginequalitiesderivedbycombiningtheprecedenceand
productionconstraints.Theadditionoftheseinequalitiesdecreasesthecomputationalrequirementsto
obtain theoptimalintegersolution,inmanycasesbyasignificantmargin.
