Abstract :
In thispaperweproposeanewlowerboundfortheresource-constrainedprojectschedulingproblem
with generalizedprecedencerelationships.Thelowerboundisbasedonarelaxationoftheresourcecon-
straints amongindependentactivitiesandonasolutionoftherelaxedproblemsuitablyrepresentedby
means ofanAONacyclicnetwork.Computationalresultsarepresentedandconfirmedabetterpractical
performance oftheproposedmethodwithrespecttothosepresentintheliterature.
