Diffusion–absorption equation without growth restrictions on the data at infinity

The global existence and uniqueness of solutions to ut = Δϕ(u) − g(u) are studied. The initial data is a nonnegative and locally integrable function. Results on the large-time behavior of solution are also obtained.  2002 Elsevier Science (USA). All rights reserved
