On the minimization of an energy functional

The author studies the minimization of an energy functional which is introduced in the study of ferromagnets and antiferromagnets. It is proved that the map u0 = (u01,u02, 0) is a minimizer by setting up the uniform gradient estimate where (u01,u02) is a p-harmonic map.  2004 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved
