  • Abstract
    We study a general model of size-dependent population dynamics with nonlinear growth rate. The existence of a local solution is shown by using Schauder’s fixed point theorem. Uniqueness and continuous dependence on initial data are also established under additional conditions.  2004 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved
