Approximation of a Functional Cauchy Problem with Infinite Delay by Means of a Sequence of Nonfunctional Cauchy Problems

This paper gives an estimation of how far the hereditary Cauchy problems are from the classical ones. If an hereditary Cauchy problem has uniqueness, then its only solution is always the uniform limit on compact subsets of the unique solutions of a suitable sequence of classical Cauchy problems
