Abstract :
In this paper we consider a distributed parameter boundary control system described by a reducible quasilinear hyperbolic system, ­ r ­ r ql r , s. s0, ­ t ­ x wl r , s.-0-m r , s.x ­ s ­ s qm r , s. s0, ­ t ­ x posed on the domain 0FxF1, with the nonlinear boundary conditions ssg r, t.qh1 t. at xs0, rsf s, t.qh2 t. at xs1. In the case that the system is linear degenerate, we show that it is globally exactly boundary controllable.
