A Technique for the Construction of Compactly Supported Biorthogonal Wavelets of L2 ŽRn., n 2

In this paper, a technique for the concrete construction of compactly supported biorthogonal wavelet bases of L2 ŽRn. is given. This technique does not depend on the dimension n, and it gives rise to non-separable multidimensional wavelet bases. Of special interest is the study of the stability of the constructed wavelet frames. It is assumed that the dilation matrices associated with the wavelet bases are given by D 2 In.
