Abstract
We point out a basic flaw made by M. A. Noor (1998, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 228,
206–220), construct a new iterative algorithm for a class of variational inclusions
involving non-monotone set-valued mappings with noncompact values, and study
the convergence of the perturbed Ishikawa iterative process for solving a class of
the generalized single-valued variational inclusions.
