Sharp generalized Trudinger inequalities via truncation

We prove that the generalized Trudinger inequalities into exponential and double exponential Orlicz spaces improve to inequalities on Orlicz–Lorentz spaces provided they are stable under truncation. © 2005 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved
