On the global attraction for the generalized Liénard equation

This paper deals with the global attraction and global weak attraction of the origin for the generalized Liénard equation. The problem proposed by Jiang is solved by a negative answer and some new criteria for the globally asymptotically stability are obtained by the ways different from the usual Filippov’s conditions. © 2006 Elsevier Inc.
