Stability of evolutionary algorithms

We prove under mild conditions the convergence of some evolutionary algorithm to the solution of the global optimization problem. In the proof, the Lyapunov function’s techniques is applied to some semi-dynamical system generated by a Foias operator on the space of the probability measures defined on the set of admissible solutions. © 2007 Elsevier Inc.
