On a Class of Measures of Fuzziness

The problem of evaluating the "measure of fuzziness" is approached. Two concepts of the measure of fuzziness are discussed, and it is proved that they essentially are triangular norm based measures of bounded variation. Several examples are given showing that these functions are behaving differently from the measures defined on crisp sets
