Fixed Point Iterations for Certain Nonlinear Mappings

In a recent paper Schu established the convergence of the Mann iterates of a completely continuous asymptotically nonexpansive mapping on a Hilbert space. In this paper we extend the result of Schu to uniformly convex spaces. We also obtain the same generalization for the Ishikawa iteration process.
