Abstract :
The paper "Stability of Stratified Shear Flows" by R. K. Jain and G. T. Kochar (J. Math. Anal. Appl.96, 1983, 269-282) has been studied. During the course of study it has been realized that Lemmas 2 and 3 are misinterpreted and restricted in nature. Hence comments are proposed in this direction.
