Generalized Factorization for Daniele-Khrapkov Matrix Functions - Partial Indexes

Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of canonical generalized factorization are given for a class of 2 × 2 matrix functions of Daniele-Khrapkov type. More generally the partial indices are calculated, which gives detailed information on the structure of the kernel and image of the associated Wiener-Hopf or Toeplitz operator in the non-canonical cases
