On Opial Type Inequalities Involving Higher Order Derivatives

In the present paper we establish some new integral inequalities of the Opial type involving functions and their higher order derivatives. The analysis used in the proofs is elementary and our results add a new range of inequalities of this type. An application to prove the uniqueness of solutions of certain higher order differential equation is given.
