Exact Multiplicity Results for Two Classes of Periodic Equations

For two classes of first-order equations we study the exact multiplicity of periodic solutions. If the nonlinearity is a quadric in the unknown function, we give conditions for existence of exactly four solutions. In another direction, we use bifurcation theory to derive exact multiplicity results for quadratic and cubic equations.
