Remarks on the Weak Star Fixed Point Property in the Dual of C(Ω)

It is essentially known that the Banach space dual of C(Ω), where Ω is an infinite compact Hausdorff topological space, fails the w*-fpp for nonexpansive maps. In recovering this we obtain results concerning the question of separable determination of the w*-fpp. Examples using affine contractions and isometries are also included.
