Abstract
Inthisinvestigation,attentionisfocusedonthespringbackbehaviorofcoldrolledtransformationinducedplasticity(TRIP)steelsinairv-bendingprocess.ExperimentalstudieswerecarriedoutontheTRIPsteelswithvariousthicknessesandthegeometricparametersaffectingspringbackwereidentified.ThechangeinYoungʹsmodulusinsimpletensionisexperimentallyinvestigatedandbyusingtheexperimentallyderivedYoungʹsmodulus,theairv-bendingprocessissimulatedbytheimplicitfiniteelementmethod(FEM)codeAbaqus/StandardusingusersubroutineUSDFLD.Itisshownthat,forabetteraccuracyinv-bending,thechangeinYoungʹsmodulusduetoplasticdeformationshouldbetakenintoconsideration.Inaddition,theinfluenceoffrictioncoefficientonspringbackinthev-bendingsimulationisalsostudied.
