Onthebasisofexperimentaldataofrodbundleheatingupto1600Kandsubsequenttopfloodingtwomainconclusionsweremade:

Apossibilitytoquenchtherodbundlefromtopatsuchtemperaturewascorroborated.
2.
ThecapabilityofRATEGandRELAPcodestosimulatethemainphysicalphenomenaofthetest(zirconiumoxidation,temperaturebehaviour,bundletopflooding)wasverified.
