Abstract :
ABSTRACT: An experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of seed biopriming (consist of unprimed as control, priming by inoculation with nitrogen fixing bacteria, phosphate solubilizing bacteria) on yield and yield components of rapeseed cultivars (PF, RGS, Hayola 330 and Hayola 401), under saline treatment conditions (0, 4, 8 and 12 dS/m). Based on the results of variance analysis and mean comparisons, some studied traits (such as pod length, pod number per plant, leaf area and plant height) were significantly different at 1% and 5% probability levels. Results showed that application of biopriming could increase harvest index as much as 38.36% compared to control, also the pot trials revealed that inoculation with selected PGPR increased plant height, pod number per plant, 1000-grain weight and grain yield compared to un inoculated control. Generally, biopriming by Nitroxine known as a suitable treatment for yield components of Hayola 330 and Hayola 401 and Supernitroplast was suitable for yield components of PF and RGS such as plant height compared by unprimed treatment. biopriming treatments with lowest level of salt stress showed better performance in terms of 1000-grain weight, plant height and pod number per plant by 15.19%, 31.27%, 54.06% compared to higher amount of salt stress treatments.
