Abstract :
Thereactivityfeedbackcoefficientsofamaterialtestresearchreactorfueledwithhigh-densityU3Si2dispersionfuelswerecalculated.Forthispurpose,thelow-densityLEUfuelofanMTRwasreplacedwithhigh-densityU3Si2LEUfuelscurrentlybeingdevelopedundertheRERTRprogram.Calculationswerecarriedouttofindthefueltemperaturereactivitycoefficient,moderatortemperaturereactivitycoefficientandmoderatordensityreactivitycoefficient.NuclearreactoranalysiscodesincludingWIMS-D4andCITATIONwereemployedtocarryoutthesecalculations.Itisobservedthattheaveragevaluesoffueltemperaturereactivityfeedbackcoefficient,moderatortemperaturereactivitycoefficientandmoderatordensityreactivitycoefficientfrom20°Cto100°C,atthebeginningoflife,followedtherelationships(inunitsofΔk/k×10−5K−1)−2.116−0.118ρU,0.713−37.309/ρUand−12.765−34.309/ρU,respectivelyfor4.0≤ρU(g/cm3)≤6.0.
