Abstract :
ABSTRACT:More than half of all patients with chronic renal failure often complain the persistent fatigue. This study was conducted to determine the influence of demographic factors on fatigue in hemodialyzed patients. This study is a descriptive and analytical study; it was done in Ardebil city, Bu-Ali Hospital, Dialysis ward. In this study, 60 patients participate in this study. Instruments of collecting data were the Piper Fatigue questionnaire and Personal Information Questionnaire including of the demographic factors which were completed by patients. Finally, the results were analyzed in SPSS 13 software. Descriptive statistical Tests of analysis of variance and T Test were used to analyze Data and to see the results relationship. Results: The analysis showed that demographic factors such as gender, education level, duration of disease and duration of dialysis was significantly associated with the rate of fatigue. (p < 0/05) However, factors such as employment, marital status, age, employment status, occupation, history of dialysis and dialysis have no significant relationship with fatigue rate. some of the personal and demographic factors have a significant impact on fatigue in dialyzed patients; therefore, health care providers can adopt appropriate measures to reduce the rate of patients fatigue with respect to these factors.
