Investigation of Relationship between Social Capital Dimensions and Intellectual Capital Management in East Guilan Province National Bank Branches

ABSTRACT: The main goal of this research is the investigation of relationship between social capital (SC) dimensions and intellectual capital (IC) management in East Guilan Province National Bank branches. Population of this research is includes all employees of national bank branches (2000 people). Sample size was equal to 322 employees based on Morgan table and sample members were selected by stratified random sampling method. Measurement tool included standard questionnaire for SC designed by Estevan and IC management questionnaire designed by Bontis. Validity of both questionnaires was verified by experts. Cronbachʹs alpha was used to evaluate the reliability of the questionnaires, which was equal to 0.88 for SC questionnaire and 0.96 for IC questionnaire. SPSS software was used to analyze data. Pearson correlation test and step-by-step regression were used to test the hypotheses. Results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between SC and IC management.
