Abstract :
ABSTRACT: Natural resources have lots of direct and indirect influences on economic-social development of the country. Despite this issue, the process of destruction of natural resources is moving forward very quickly because of these factors: rapid population growth, unplanned and indiscriminate exploitation, people lack of knowledge about the development and extension of standards, restoration plan and proper exploitation. The public participation in natural resources management plays an important role in preventing such destructions. The main purpose of the present paper is the regression analysis of the key elements affecting public participation in preservation, restoration, development and exploitation of renewal of natural resources in Hamedan Province. The present study is a functional sort and the research method is a causative communicative type. Statistical community of this paper includes experts and specialists of agriculture extension and education, the natural resources experts and managers of Department of Natural Resources of Hamedan Province. The volumes of samples were calculated by Cochran’s formula for 70 people. The main instrument of this paper was questionnaire which its validity is based on the experts’ opinions and its reliability was calculated by Cronbachʹs alpha (%84). The analytical findings investigated that there is a meaningful relationship between political-legal variables, the competencies of natural resources advocates, economic variables and the content circumstances of extension plans with public participation variable. While, there is no relationship between the variables of social and cultural factors, psychometric factors and the key elements of extension planning with public participation in preservation, restoration, development and exploitation of natural resources. Also, the results of multi-variable regression analysis released that the independent variables of the research possess the ability of distinguishing %66 (R2=0.66) of dependent variable changes of participation in preservation and restoration of natural resources.
