Overview on new solvers for nonlinear systems Original Research Article

A whole class of new solvers for nonlinear systems of equations is reviewed. This class results from generalizing the approach of orthogonalization methods to nonlinear equations. Very promising numerical tests are presented. The new methods are in nearly all cases faster than their classical counterparts.
