Abstract
In this paper a coupled system of two singularly perturbed convection–diffusion ordinary differential equations is examined. A numerical method is constructed for this system which involves an appropriate piecewise-uniform Shishkin mesh. The numerical approximations are shown to converge to the continuous solutions uniformly with respect to the two singular perturbation parameters. Numerical results are presented which illustrate the theoretical results.
