The Galerkin finite element method for the solution of some spatio-temporally dependent reaction diffusion systems Original Research Article

In this article we study a Galerkin finite element system, which is a discrete version of some weakly coupled semilinear equations. We prove optimal order error estimates in the L2L2-sense for the semi-discrete scheme in time. Numerical results are presented to verify the theoretical estimate.
