A multilevel method for the resolution of a stochastic weakly damped nonlinear Schrödinger equation Original Research Article

In this article, we consider a stochastic nonlinear Schrödinger equation as a model for signal propagation in optical fibers. We describe the modeling of the problem and the desired objectives. We then present a new multilevel method for its solution; this method gives better quality results with significantly shorter CPU time than the other numerical methods used in the literature.
