The problem of solving (arbitrary) equations over arbitrary (finite) sets has been studied in the literature [1–3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 15, 17, 19]. After determining one general solution in [15]. Presšić determined in [17] all general reproductive solutions of a finite equation, supposing that particular solutions are known. In this paper we determine all general solutions (including all general reproductive solutions) of a finite equation without the above supposition. We also describe all general solutions of Boolean equations in Boolean algebra B2.
