Abstract
The purpose of this study was the comparison of motional –visual perception skills and drawing skills of Bender and Writing and Handwriting of Autistic students by using Kephart and Delacato’smethod.Statistic community were (7-10)-year-old students with autism. students divided into two groups randomly .The first was experimental group(3girls and 13 boys) and second was control group (3girls and 13 boys ).The experimental group was taught with Kephart method during 36 sessions (three times a week in 3 monthes)and control group was taught similarly but by Delacato’s method. The pretest and posttest applied for both groups .The data was collected through Bender Gestalt’s test ,Frostig’s test ,and the qualitative handwriting test and was analyzed statistically.Theresults showed that experimental group which was reinforced in their visual-motional perception skills through kephart’s method had higher performance than the control group which was reinforced by Delacato’smethod.we also observed that in reduction of test error about Bender’s visual and motional test and improving of the handwriting,thekephart’smethodwas preferred than the Delacato.
