Abstract :
ABSTRACT :In order to study the effects of irrigation times and wastewater concentration of a leaven producing factory on some morphological characters of alfalfa, a factorial experiment was arranged base on randomized complete block design (RCBD) in three replications at greenhouse of faculty of Agriculture, University of Tabriz, Tabriz, Iran. The first factor included irrigation times in 3 levels (I1= once irrigation with determined concentration of wastewater, I2= twice irrigation with determined concentration of wastewater, I3= irrigation in whole of plant growth period with determined concentration of wastewater) and the second factor included wastewater concentration in 6 levels (P0= irrigation with controlled water (control), P15=15% wastewaters +85% controlled water, P30= 30% wastewaters +70% controlled water, P45= 45% wastewaters +55% controlled water, P60= 60% wastewaters +40% controlled water, P100= 100% wastewater). The effects of irrigation times and wastewater concentration were significant on number of branches per plant, branch weight, plants height, leaf weight and biological yield of alfalfa (p?0.01). Interaction effect of irrigation times and wastewater concentration was also significant on all measured values (p?0.01). Results showed that by increasing of some elements such as sodium and chlorine and increasing of pH up to 8.22, biological yield at treatments having of high concentration of wastewater (P?45%) were decreased, however, at other treatments with light concentration of wastewater (P < 45%) because of positive effects of Mg, Fe, P, K plant photosynthesis increased and it promote plant biological yield.
