Investigating farmers attitude regarding advisory services of agricultural technical and engineering in Sari Township

ABSTRACT:The overall objective of this study was to investigating farmers’ attitude regarding advisory services of agricultural technical and engineering in Sari Township. The statistical population was 49.237 farmers that Samples were selected through stratified sampling with proportional allocation formula and 195 farmers were selected and interviewed. Research methodology applied a combination of quantitative and descriptive – inferential statistics. The Cronbachʹs alpha was 82 percent.The average age range of farmers and their working experience were 44.41 and 21.49 years, respectively.Farmersʹ attitude average towards agricultural technical and engineering advisory companies was high. Moreover, The 15.9 percent of the variance in farmersʹ attitudes toward agricultural engineering and technical advisory companies in Sari was determined by three factors of agricultural technical and engineering advisory companies success, farmersʹ communication channels and farmersʹ social participation.
