On Discriminativity of Vertex-Degree-Based Indices

مقاله چاپ شده اخير داشليچ در اين مجله شاخص هاي زاگرب سيستم هاي بنزونييدي را مورد توجه قرار داده است. ما در اين مقاله نشان مي دهيم ما نشان مي دهيم كه نتايج مشابهي براي توصيف گرهاي ديگري كه در رياضي شيمي بررسي شده و بر اساس درجه ريوس تعريف مي شوند وجود دارد. ما همچنين نشان مي دهيم كه اين نتايج به طور مستقيم با استفاده از تعدادي اتحاد كه در نظريه بنزنوييد هاي هيدروكربن شناخته شده اند قابل حصول مي باشد.

A recently published paper [T. Do?li?, this journal 3 (2012) 25-34] considers the Zagreb indices of benzenoid systems, and points out their low discriminativity. We show that analogous results hold for a variety of vertex-degree-based molecular structure descriptors that are being studied in contemporary mathematical chemistry. We also show that these results are straightforwardly obtained by using some identities, well known in the theory of benzenoid hydrocarbons.
