Measuring Touristsʹʹ Satisfaction with the Quality of Climate Information Sources (CISs)

n recent years, the excellent status of tourism industry and its role on social-economical development has caused to pay more attention to tourism from various dimensions in many countries specially developing countries. At this area, publicity and advertizing have significant and great influence on sustainable growth of tourism industry. Also the information sources can help tourism in the countries. That’s why, quality of the publicity and information sources are seriously considered by deputies and planners of tourism sector for marketing of tourism industry. It seems that the role of climate information sources (CISs) on tourism industry is more critical than other resources. This research is a descriptive-survey study that investigates the satisfaction of CISs quality of foreign tourists in order to attracting tourists to Iran. In this research CISs divide into two main categories: the website sources and the printed sources. The two sources were investigated in the aspects of attractiveness, motivating/ influencing, usefulness, validity, user-friendly, and containing useful information. To gather data and test the hypotheses, we are to use a sample of 118 people involving tourists who have been visiting from Isfahan province. Statistical analysis is used from: one sample T test, independent T, One-way ANOVA and Freidman test. The results show that CISs quality of printed and website sources are satisfactory on the view point of Iranʹs foreign tourists. Also quality of CISs are good in the aspect of motivating/influencing but they are not in good condition from the aspects of user-friendly and including useful information. , Printed sources.
