Abstract :
Gardner proposed that there are at least eight different and discrete facets of cognition, which can be regarded as relatively autonomous human intelligences. These intelligences are described as logical-mathematical, linguistic, musical, spatial, bodily kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and naturalistic. This study aimed at finding the relationship between logical-mathematical Intelligence, gender and reading comprehension.100 B.A students of English language took part in this study. By using ANOVA, It was found that there was a direct relationship between logical-mathematical Intelligence and reading comprehension. Female with high logical intelligence show a better reading comprehension in comparison with men.
