A method of finding automorphism groups of endomorphism monoids of relational systems Original Research Article

For any set X and any relation image on X, let image be the semigroup of all maps image that preserve image. Let image be the symmetric group on X. If image is reflexive, the group of automorphisms of image is isomorphic to image, the normalizer of image in image, that is, the group of permutations on X that preserve image under conjugation. The elements of image have been described for the class of so-called dense relations image. The paper is dedicated to applications of this result.
