Abstract :
The (22,4)-arcs in PG(2,7) are classified. From this it is shown that there does not exist a [23,4,18]7-code. It follows that n7(4,18)=24, where nq(k,d) denotes the smallest length n for which there exists an [n,k,d]q code.
