Minimal polynomial of Pascal matrices over the field Zp

In this paper, we introduce the Pascal functional matrix of two variables. Using ideas from linear algebra, we obtain several interesting identities. Finally, we give an affirmative answer to an open problem posed in M. Razpet, Discrete Math. 135 (1994) 377.
