Projective planes of order 12 and PG(3,3) Original Research Article

We consider the problem of extending the linear space of points and lines in the projective 3-space PG(3,3) to a projective plane of order 12. This was shown to be impossible by M. Hall and R. Roth in 1982 but their paper omits consideration of some cases and we correct this error. The conclusion remains the same.
