Sequencing the dihedral groups D4k

A finite group is sequenceable if its elements can be listed in such a way that the partial products are distinct. The sequenceability of several classes of groups has previously been investigated. In particular, it has been shown [5] that the dihedral groups Dn = (σ,τvbσ″ = τ2 = 1, τσ = σ−1τ>, are sequenceable for n ≢ 0 mod 4. In this note we show that D4k are sequenceable for k ⩾ 4.
