Abstract
ROMSTOOLS, a collection of global data sets and a series of Matlab programs collected in an integrated toolbox, generates the grid, surface
forcing, initial condition, open boundary conditions, and tides for climatological and inter-annual ROMS ocean simulations. ROMSTOOLS also
generates embedded models, real-time coastal modeling systems, as well as experiments including biology. Tools for visualization, animations
and diagnostics are also provided.
