On the explicit analytic solution of Cheng-Chang equation

An analytic technique is applied to solve the free convection over a heated horizontal flat surface embedded in a porous medium. An explicit, totally analytic and uniformly valid solution is given to the socalled Cheng-Chang equation, which agrees well with numerical results.
