Abstract :
In this paper, the difficulties encountered when applying the time-domain free surface Green function source distribution method to a surface ships with large flare is systematically studied in two-dimensional case. A constrained condition of source strength at the intersection points of flared type non-wall-sided body, and a new numerical source distribution model are presented. Numerical results for a large flared body demonstrate the effectiveness of the new model.
