Critical discussion of trace element analysis of plant matrices

This survey shows the possibilities and limitations of atomic spectroscopy methods for trace metal analysis of plant material. It drew attention to the problem of the validity of routine results and shows that suitable mineralization procedures and proper use of possibilities of the apparatus avoid major errors.
