An HDD-based removable medium and its AT-attachment interface architecture for copyright protection

This paper describes a novel removable medium based on the hard disk drive (called "information versatile disk for removable usage" (iVDR(Trade Mark))) and interface architecture for copyright protection based on public key infrastructure and superdistribution. This interface architecture is applicable to various media including iVDRs whose interfaces are AT-attachment based.
