Abstract :
Time of flight impact-collision ion scattering spectroscopy TOF-ICISS.have been used to investigate the heteroepitaxial
growth of 3 ML of Ag on Ni 111.. We found that two different of preferred epitaxial growth exist depending on the
substrate temperature during Ag deposition: Agw112xrrNiw112xand Agw112xrrNiw112x. These experimental results strongly
suggest that the growth modes can be manipulated on the heteroepitaxial system, Ag 111.rNi 111. by controlling the
