Abstract :
Photoluminescent CdWO4 thin films were synthesized by pulsed laser ablation using targets of CdOrWO3 mixed oxide. The ablation plume was controlled in the same length by three conditions with different ambient O2 pressure and laser fluence. In addition, target-substrate distance was changed. Properties of photoluminescence, crystal structure, angular distribution of CdrW ratio and that of W intensity in the films were studied. q1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved
